About Edomaye Foundation

Preserving the Spirit. Restoring the Glory. Inspiring the Future.

The Edomaye Foundation is a cultural preservation and creative storytelling initiative dedicated to celebrating the heritage, art, and wisdom of the ancient Benin Kingdom and the broader Edo civilization. Our mission is to revive history through storytelling  transforming ancestral knowledge into engaging modern narratives that educate, inspire, and empower.

Founded under the creative vision of OTO THE WRITER and powered by OTODEDE, the Edomaye Foundation bridges tradition and innovation through books, art, education, and digital culture. Each work in the Edomaye Cultural Heritage Scrolls series   including Queen Idia’s Legacy and Princess Adesuwa: The Noble Heart of Benin   honors the spirit of Edo heroes and heroines who shaped African history.

Learn Something Every Day

Every experience, every story, and every lesson from the past is a foundation for the future. To learn from yesterday is to honor wisdom  to draw from the victories and mistakes of those who came before us.
It is through this remembrance that we build resilience, understanding, and purpose.
The strength of tomorrow is not found in forgetting, but in carrying forward the truth, courage, and knowledge that yesterday has already taught.
